Our client, a major financial institution with a strong presence in Southeast Asia, is looking for an Executive Vice President of Corporate Banking. This senior role provides an outstanding opportunity to drive business development and client management efforts in Singapore, focusing on a broad range of sectors. The EVP will be responsible for acquiring and managing relationships with high-profile corporate clients and delivering tailored financial solutions to meet their diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Penetration: Spearhead business development efforts in Singapore, targeting large corporate clients across multiple industries. Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities.
  • Client Engagement: Cultivate and sustain high-level relationships with key decision-makers in various sectors. Deliver bespoke banking solutions that address complex client needs and ensure exceptional service levels.
  • Strategic Leadership: Formulate and implement strategies to drive business growth and align with both client and bank objectives. Stay ahead of market trends and regulatory changes to effectively guide business direction.
  • Solution Delivery: Design and execute customized financial solutions, including structured credit facilities, trade finance, and treasury management services, to meet the diverse needs of corporate clients.
  • Sector Agnostic Insight: Provide strategic advice based on a comprehensive understanding of economic conditions and regulatory developments affecting multiple sectors within Singapore.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field. An MBA or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are advantageous.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of experience in corporate banking with a proven track record in managing large corporate relationships and executing sophisticated financial transactions across various sectors.
  • Skills: Exceptional client relationship management, advanced credit analysis, financial structuring skills, and a broad understanding of Singapore’s corporate banking environment.
