About The Role
You will be part of the data team of StraitsX. In this role, you will work with the Head of Data and AI, and will lead a team of data analysts and data engineers to collect, organize and analyze data, in order to support strategic decision making, and reporting to internal and external stakeholders. You will need to query large data and use various statistical techniques to interpret the results in order to provide insights to improve our business operations, and lead a team of data analysts to do the same.

You will need to query large data and use various statistical techniques to interpret the results in order to provide insights to improve our business operations, and lead a team of data analysts to do the same.
What You Will Do
- Lead and mentor a culturally diverse team of data analysts and engineers, assisting them in gathering requirements from stakeholders and managing their projects effectively.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Strategy, Finance, Compliance, Engineering, and other business units to define metrics for assessing business performance, and develop processes for collecting and utilizing the data.
- Facilitate the creation of dashboards and reports that provide regular updates on key metrics, enabling leaders to monitor company performance effectively.
- Convert analytical findings into clear, actionable insights, and offer recommendations based on the analysis results.
- Identify and establish essential internal and external data sources, including designing a data warehouse for optimal data organization.
- Ensure smooth data flow within and outside the organization, while maintaining timely project delivery.
- Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science
- At least 4 years of experience as Data Analyst
- Experienced in leading a team of at least three members
- Proficient in SQL and familiarity with Python and its applications in data analytics
- Strong ability to collaborate with and manage stakeholders
- Excellent commercial awareness, analytical skills, and attention to detail
- Experience with BigQuery, Tableau, or other data platforms
- Knowledge of blockchain technologies and/or the payments industry is highly desirable
