As a Product Growth Specialist for Philippines Market, you will work to ensure Meta and our family of apps are locally relevant and successful (Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp, Messenger, Meta Business Suite). Leveraging your deep understanding of the local competitive and product landscape, you will highlight product gaps and identify growth opportunities in the country, and drive execution of growth initiatives specifically for the region.

The ideal candidate is passionate about international market success and has relevant experience in product management for consumer products and mobile technology.

Job Description

  • Provide local insights and local knowledge about digital advertising – identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats relevant for Meta’s success in Philippines
  • Explore, identify and execute on growth opportunities
  • Ensure the Meta family of apps is fully functional and well adapted to be successful in Philippines
  • Partner with the analytics organization to validate key findings with data
  • Escalate to and drive solutions with product management for identified market specific product issues and gaps
  • Design and oversee local execution of a continuous testing plan for important end-to-end flows
  • Track progress of market specific product improvements and measure impact
  • Leverage usability studies, research and market analysis to drive market specific product insights into execution
  • Understand Meta’s strategic and competitive position in the region and work to improve it

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years in product management or product marketing in internet industry, digital advertising industry products or tech companies
  • Experience with advertising, commerce, messaging, technologies and platforms is strongly desired
  • Good to have experience in influencing multiple stakeholders at a global scale
  • Good to have experience in partnering with product management or product growth at a global scale
  • Extensive local knowledge of how people use the internet and what are their needs that can be addressed by the internet. Having knowledge in digital advertising and business needs for online advertising is a plus.
  • Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, highly organized, hands-on and a self starter
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Self-driven, comfortable with a fast-paced, always-on, highly ambiguous environment
  • Great story teller who is able to turn insights into actionable product ideas
  • Understanding of the technical architecture of complex and highly scalable web and mobile applications
  • BA/BS in Computer Science, engineering or related technical field or equivalent working experience will be a plus
  • Candidate must be able to speak Tagalog as the role requires to liaise with clients and vendors from The Philippines.
