O&M Specialist (City Infra)

Job Summary

We are looking for an O&M Specialist who is business-oriented, open-minded to new technologies, who flourishes in fast-paced growth environments.

With proven experience in both OT and IT, this role will oversee the operations and maintenance of the Univers product and applications in the areas of Resource Management, Building Management and Carbon Management.

This role will act as the primary technical expert and the owner of post-sales support. This role would work closely with internal stakeholders (Sales, SA, Product, R&D) and ensure that customer issues are responded to, analysed and resolved in a timely manner, root causes are identified, and proactive actions are taken to mitigate risks and ultimately a consistent customer experience is achieved throughout the product lifecycle.

A successful candidate should hold good communication and collaboration skills, basic P/L acumen, good analytical and problem-solving skills, understanding of IT network and architecture design, compliance and product lifecycle, L2 support for infrastructure-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide post-sales support to key customers.
  • Manage O&M activities for Univers domain products including Resource Management, Building Management and Carbon Management.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all domain application issues.
  • Support project teams during new project initiation, configuration and maintenance of new domain applications.
  • Ensure that all documentation is up to date and accurate.
  • Conduct regular reviews to improve system capacity, performance, access control, risk management, and compliance.
  • Client facing, be the main conduit between Univers product and customers.
  • Proactively identify internal opportunities for optimization. Orchestrate internal stakeholders to implement changes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an IT operations, technical support or technical account manager role.
  • Experience in managing important customers, with proven record in service management in a client facing environment
  • Proficient in managing Kubernetes, serverless environments, Docker, and cloud services.
  • Hands-on experience with Ubuntu operating systems and database management (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Redis, Kafka).
  • Understanding of streaming technology (e.g. Kafka)
  • Azure or AWS professional certification is a bonus
  • Expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM), with a proven record in maintaining SLAs
  • Excellent interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of prioritizing tasks in a dynamic environment.
