  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

The Asset Servicing team comprises of 2 teams - Corporate Actions & IPO Custodial Services. The selected candidate will have an opportunity to work in either of the teams. We are looking for someone who is an Analytical thinker in operations who possess passion for securities corporate action processing, settlement and custodial services. A team player with creativity, who can learn, adapt and execute the process flawlessly and partner well with other stakeholders. Supports team manager to meet the operational objectives of the function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support team manager to build an effective and cohesive team contributing to SGX’s success
  • Manage both mandatory and voluntary corporate actions distributions via our digital platforms
  • Work closely with all team members to ensure accurate and timely financial products listing, smooth execution of corporate actions events via our digital platforms and other custodial services offering.
  • Further the organizational effort on ‘stop paper’ initiative, building scalable solution to support multi-asset class exchange
  • Manage communication to Depository Agents via circular, payment advices to issuers/paying agents and communication with regulators and authorities like MAS, IRAS
  • Proactively review and improve processes to ensure high standards of processing and risk management in daily operations and project implementation
  • Support/ take the lead for various projects and initiatives to develop the securities products and platforms
  • Deepen the relationship with Members, and other external stakeholders

Job Requirements

  • Degree holder with 1-4 years working experience in corporate action, custodial services, & depository systems, rules and regulations
  • Strong understanding of Equities & FICC products & processes (both Exchange and OTC)
  • Proven track record of accurate execution and an eye for details
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Can-do spirit
  • Fast learner
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem solving abilities
  • Strong inter-personal and effective relationship management skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Knowledge in VBA/ R/ Python language is a plus
