Responsibilities

Senior Technical Project Manager (TPM) is responsible for planning, executing and finalizing solutions related to new and existing products, modules and services. The Technical Project Manager sets milestones for each project, coordinates efforts between operations and technology teams, in order to effectively and efficiently deliver projects according to plan. This position works with internal and external stakeholders to bring structure while implementing complex, project-based processes to bring increased efficiency in the delivery of all projects and services and in turn, enhanced client satisfaction.

The TPM should have a working knowledge of MS Project, and Visio through current version.

The TPM should have been in similar technical project management role managing on/off shore software delivery team and project implementation. He/she needs to have at least 18 years of experience in IT industry and the last 8 years as architect or PM.

Responsibility

  • Create and manage the plan for moving technical solutions to final client hand-off.
  • Assemble and coordinate the internal and external teams to gain consensus on deliverables from each team.
  • Collaboratively adapt existing and develop new project plans, processes and communication standards for the operations teams.
  • Manage the formulation and ongoing tracking of each project.
  • Manage customer expectations in the project.
  • Assist with the development of reports, and the loading and configuration of demonstration data and systems.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans.
  • Own the communication and execution of solution hand-over to client services, service delivery, technology and other team members at designated milestones.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, requirements documentation and presentations.
  • Leading test strategy/execution, review, and recommend changes to technology stakeholders
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Travels may be required up to 60%


Key Skills:

  • Understanding of Agile Methods, Scrum methods, SDLC.
  • Knowledge of UML notation and Unified Processes and understanding of PMBOK/Prince 2.
  • Ability to initiate and support demand creation activities within existing and new accounts.
  • Provide overall leadership in the quality and execution of consulting engagements
  • Ability to manage multiple sales and delivery engagements
  • Proven communicator, ability to motivate teams (both internal and external) and build alignment around goals and objectives.
  • Experience with managing delivery of Middleware Technology, Security, BI and/or Java related technology.
  • Ideally experience with managing delivery of one or more of these products: Oracle PaaS/IaaS, Oracle Integration
