Key Responsibilities

• Coach product teams and Product Owners on product discovery

• Grow and support product owners to become better product thinkers and leaders:

o Set the direction and develop the leadership skills required to become an effective product leader.

o Design and grow a flexible and adaptable product organisation around empowered product teams.

o Develop people and drive a modern product management practice.

• Help refine the structure of the coaching framework we have created to improve how our company build a product that continuously delivers value to its customers.

• Improve teams and business ability to ship quality products.

• Provide product insights and collaborative decision-making to help the team when faced with challenges with a shared focus that is aligned with our values and strategy by unifying a high-performing team.

• Implement the Agile process, principles, and practices across all units in the organisation, by using techniques that promote a culture of experimentation and innovation.

• Practise Agile such that it changes the culture and work processes of the organization to be more efficient and value-adding. Embody the Agile principles and lead by example.

• Explore and experiment with enterprise scaling of agile and business agility

• Maintain a Centre of Excellence on Agile/Digital Culture and Product Management practices.

• Conduct Agile Product Development-related training curriculum suitable for the organisation.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields

• Minimum 5 years of product manager or product designer experience.

• Significant experience in a product leadership role with strong coaching and people development ability

• Practical experience in product discovery techniques, data-informed product management, experimentation, and hypothesis-driven development.

• Scrum.org Product Owner certification (PSPO II) or Professional Scrum with UX (PSU)

• Demonstrates strong knowledge of agile concepts and approaches such as Scrum, Kanban, OKR, Design Thinking, and Lean Startup.

• Being strategic and highly practical. Able to adapt the methods to the organisational reality for best outcomes.

• Possess experience in coaching teams in agile adoption, enthusiastic about Agile practices and their benefits.

• Ability to weave in and out of Facilitating, Coaching, Teaching, Mentoring and Advising stances.

• Exceptional influencing skills to achieve organisational cooperation, buy-in, and engagement from senior management, BUs and internal stakeholders.
