What the role is

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised assistant manager/ manager to produce events from conceptualisation through completion. The ideal candidate will be able to provide outstanding experience-oriented events that meet the intended goals and expectations of the organisation. S/he must be able to work well within time limits to plan, resource, and oversee the events. Excellent people skills are a must as s/he will be working with internal clients and cross-functional teams directly. The ability to multitask and prioritise are essential, as the candidate will oversee all the different aspects of various events management including design, programming and guest management. What you will be working on

• Ability to see the “big picture” and be able to execute event planning, design, and production

• Management of complete project within deadline and budget with minimum guidance

• Partner with cross-functional teams (Brand, Content Development, Media) to coordinate and optimise tactics and programs

• Management and organisational skills including event branding, creative experience design, programming, guest management, logistics, technical equipment and etc.

• Excellent people and communication skills; ability to effectively speak with both internal and external partners/ agencies to articulate ideas, needs, and resolve situations

• Proactive in handling issues and troubleshooting problems

• Ability to apply relevant technologies

• Follow-through and willingness to conduct pre-and post-event evaluations, reporting of outcomes.

What we are looking for

• 2-4 years of experience working in the field of events/ project management, or equivalent relevant experience

• Customer-experience oriented

• Excellent communications and negotiation ability

• Strong time management skills

• Ability to oversee multiple projects independently

• Collaborative, proactive, and solutions orientated

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to details

• Knowledge in digital technologies for experiential event management

• Background in PR, marketing, hospitality management or related field is preferred

• Passion for trends in events, entertainment and media, a plus
