The Role

As the Senior Manager of Business Development, you will report to the Senior Director and play a key role in driving business growth for Data Centre services across Singapore and ASEAN. You will collaborate with various internal teams and external partners to develop differentiated solutions, identify new market opportunities, and expand customer portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with teams including Data Centre Product Managers, Submarine Cable teams, and Domestic Product Managers to create unified and value-driven solutions.
  • Develop and package comprehensive Data Centre service offerings for both domestic and international markets.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients while identifying new customer opportunities to ensure continued business growth.
  • Lead efforts to expand the company’s business footprint into new markets and regions.
  • Stay informed on the rapidly evolving Data Centre market, ensuring the company remains competitive through emerging technologies.
  • Manage and strengthen partnerships both locally and globally, driving business development and market expansion.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
  • 5-8 years of business development and sales experience within the Data Centre industry, with exposure to the carrier industry being an added advantage.
  • Experience working with hyperscalers or OTT (Over-The-Top) segments, particularly with strong connections in these areas.
  • Proven experience in building new partnerships and expanding business into untapped regions.
  • A working knowledge of Data Centre-related fields, such as solar energy, and mechanical and electrical engineering, is highly beneficial.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for creating professional presentations, proposals, and business reports.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of delivering clear, impactful presentations.
  • A self-motivated individual with strong connections in the industry, adept at building and expanding relationships.
  • A solid understanding of telecommunications and Data Centre infrastructure on a global scale is advantageous.
