This role is responsible for merchandise management of system maintenance, Order management, Return & Inventory tracking and ad hoc administrative task. This involves efficiencies of inventory management which is key area of focus. Planning skill is required to manage inventory.

Roles and responsibility

Product Management

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining merchandise SKU for SIMs, ERP.
  • Maintenance of Masterfile.

Order Management

  • Raise purchase orders and update costs etc.
  • PO Receiving, OPO
  • Shipment schedule coordination and confirmation with vendors
  • Monthly summary of incoming shipment for communications internally
  • Ensure shipping documents are received prior shipment.
  • Manage damage, defective reports from shipment delivery to warehouse

Monitor Orders

  • Monitor inventory orders using sales data to analyse supply and demand.
  • Make inventory projections to flag for replenishment.

Inventory Management

  • Maintains business unit inventory. Minimizing overstock and out of stocks occurrences.
  • Inflight delisting process with Ops

Customer Service

  • Responses to customer feedback on merchandise defect or return.
  • Work closely internally with customer service, operations and vendors on Damage and Return Stocks, Discrepancy Defective Report, etc

Reporting

  • Daily sales and inventory report
  • Monthly sales report for Airlines merchandise, SOH & manual sales

Administrative

  • Support Business Unit team administratively on all miscellaneous duties and ad-hoc projects if any.
  • Proficient in Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experiences with supply chain management / inventory management and data analysis
  • Software knowledge: ERP, SAP
  • Strong analytical thinkers with mathematical abilities and communications skill.
  • Initiative approach on task assigned.
  • Strong sense of ownership, results driven with problem solving skills
  • Independent worker and a team player who can work collaboratively and positively with both internal and external parties.
  • Able to work under pressure with high adaptability and initiative within a dynamic environment
