**Overview:**
A leading quick-service restaurant (QSR) organization in Singapore, with over 3000 full-time and part-time employees, seeks a dynamic Learning & Development Manager to join our team. This role is crucial in designing, implementing, and assessing learning initiatives to nurture our team members and elevate performance standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Training Delivery:** Conduct engaging training sessions using interactive methods, real-world scenarios, and group discussions. Continuously refine techniques for better engagement and retention.
2. **Train the Trainer:** Develop and manage "train the trainer" programs, providing skills and tools for internal trainers. Offer ongoing support and feedback.
3. **Facilitation Skills:** Coach team members in facilitation techniques and group dynamics, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
4. **Content Localization:** Customize training content to fit the local context, cultural nuances, and business landscape in Singapore.
5. **Cross-cultural Acumen:** Adapt communication and instructional strategies for diverse backgrounds, ensuring inclusivity.
6. **Needs Analysis:** Conduct regular needs assessments and gather feedback to identify learning gaps. Use data to guide targeted training interventions.
7. **Continuous Enhancement:** Innovate and improve learning initiatives, staying updated with industry trends and new technologies.
8. **Learning Strategy:** Collaborate with senior leadership and HR to understand business needs and develop aligned learning strategies.
9. **Curriculum Crafting:** Create impactful learning materials, ensuring content is relevant and up-to-date.
10. **Training Delivery:** Facilitate sessions on various topics such as product knowledge, customer service, and leadership development using diverse delivery methods.
11. **Performance Evaluation:** Assess the effectiveness of training programs, using feedback and outcomes to make data-driven improvements.
12. **Learning Technology:** Utilize learning management systems (LMS) and digital tools for training administration and tracking progress.
13. **Talent Development:** Work with HR to identify high-potential talent and create personalized development plans. Provide coaching and mentorship.
14. **Compliance:** Ensure all training programs meet regulatory standards and quality benchmarks.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in talent management, learning and development and facilitation skills.
- Proven success in developing and delivering training in multicultural environments, preferably in the quick-service restaurant or retail sector.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage and inspire participants.
- Experience in localizing training content for the Singapore or Asia-Pacific market.
- Certification in facilitation or training delivery is a plus.
- Singaporean citizenship or valid work authorization in Singapore required.
