Enterprise Network Engineer (Singapore)

This will be your network and it is constantly growing. Your primary function will be to ensure that the network is reliable, robust and can scale to meet the challenges that serving over a billion users presents. Automation and continuous improvement are the keys to meeting our demands; you will be responsible for developing and deploying network designs, automation systems and network performance improvements into our production network.Do you feel that you can do more than what your network's growth allows? Enterprise Network Engineer (Singapore) Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other engineering groups to ensure our network infrastructure continues to support applications and services effectively.
• Monitor network performance and integrity, and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot network issues and outages, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Participate in on-call rotation for network support.
• Develop optimized network monitoring systems
• Develop automated methods to mitigate and remediate network events
• Build tools in support of network data analysis and production execution
• Be an active participant in deep technical discussions
  
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.
• Experience with computer networks
• Experience with UNIX, TCP/IP, network fundamentals, or similar
• Experience coding in at least one language (Python/Golang/Rust/C++ are all in use)
• Experience learning new concepts around network design and management
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Switching and Routing concepts and implementation
• Knowledge of routing protocols BGP, OSPF and ISIS
• Knowledge of tunneling protocols MPLS, GRE, IPnIP
