Overall Job Responsibility
As part of the Partnerships team, you will work with the team to establish strategic partnerships with organisations which are keen to partner SG Enable on multiple fronts to bring significant brand value, assets, and/or resources (including donations) to SG Enable. You will also work with the team to facilitate and host key partners and/or guests at the Enabling Village to foster long-term collaborations and feature SG Enable. You will also take lead in promoting and advancing disability-inclusive practices in identified sectors by working with a cross-division team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for overseeing a key business area, Consumer Inclusiveness (“CI”), to encourage identified sectors to adopt disability inclusive practices, from strategy development to impact evaluation.
- Engage corporates and identified sectors to share about SG Enable’s role in the disability sector and the support available for persons with disabilities
- Establish, front, and manage strategic partners (local and foreign) who are keen to partner SG Enable on multiple fronts that could include but are not limited to inclusive hiring, accessibility and innovation projects, public education, CI, skilled volunteerism and donations
- Work closely with internal business units to fulfil the terms of reference set out in the partnerships
- Administrative duties including mailbox management, tracking of statistics for CI and partnership outcomes; schedule meetings and take minutes
- Participate and support events when required e.g. networking events, webinars
- Undertake other roles as and when required
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
- Degree holder in relevant discipline
- Minimum 6-8 years of relevant experience, including proven experience in business development, corporate relations, partnership development, stakeholder engagement or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrable ability to think strategically, identify opportunities, and negotiate partnerships that align with organisational goals
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Ability to contribute as part of a team to share knowledge and display initiative in assisting colleagues, while working independently on individual responsibilities with minimum supervision
- Passion for the organisation’s mission and a commitment to making a positive social impact
- Proficient in Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
