Role Summary
The Consumer Business Analyst will be responsible for leveraging data to uncover insights about consumer behavior, trends, and preferences. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and sales, to ensure that data-driven decisions are at the forefront of our consumer strategy.
Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDP) is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze consumer data to identify trends, opportunities, and insights to inform business decisions.
- Leverage CDP tools to consolidate and analyze customer data from various sources.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track consumer behavior and KPIs.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to design and implement targeted campaigns based on data-driven insights.
- Evaluate campaign performance and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Identify gaps in data collection and work with technical teams to enhance data quality and accessibility.
- Stay updated on industry trends, consumer behavior, and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on consumer analytics.
- Hands-on experience working with Customer Data Platforms (CDP) such as Segment, Tealium, or similar tools.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in SQL and/or Python for data analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and actionable manner.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the consumer goods or retail industry.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Proven track record of working in cross-functional teams.
