Job Overview

We are seeking a warm and nurturing Childcare Assistant to care for infants aged 2 to 18 months. You’ll create a safe, clean, and engaging environment, supporting their physical, emotional, and developmental needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Infant Care:     Help with feeding, diapering, and hygiene.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure the infants’ safety and maintain a clean environment.
  • Developmental Activities: Engage infants in sensory play, music, story time, and tummy time.
  • Observation: Monitor and document infants’ growth and behavior.
  • Comfort & Bonding: Soothe, cuddle, and support nap times.
  • Parent Updates: Share daily updates on activities, feeding, and progress.
  • Room Maintenance: Sterilize bottles, toys, and equipment.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with teachers and colleagues to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

  • Certification in Infant/Toddler Care or Early Childhood Education (ECDA certification preferred) is a plus but not required
  • Experience with infants or young children is a plus.
  • Patient, caring, and passionate about infant care.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physically capable of lifting and carrying infants safely.
  • Familiarity with infant development and safety practices.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts if required.
