As a Business Development Manager for the Commercial Lines department, you will be responsible for the profitable growth and development of business through brokers.
The ideal candidate would be expected to maintain and develop customer relations, identifying and developing new products, services/new market segments. You will ensure risks are accepted and underwritten in accordance with the Company's Risk Management and Reinsurance guidelines.
In order to be successful in this position, you will be required to achieve premium growth and profit targets set by the team and undertake any other duties as may be assigned.
Skills and experience required
• 4+ years of experience as a producing underwriter or business development/distribution
• Strong product knowledge on commercial lines products, focusing on Property & Casualty
• Proven track record and strong connections with brokers and ability to build relationship
• Candidates with Insurer and broker experience are welcome to apply
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
