Lendlease is currently searching for an experienced Project Director to join the Project Management & Construction team based in Singapore, and help drive the delivery of a major upcoming project in the Pharmaceutical sector.

In this role, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Assume overall leadership of the construction team, and take ultimate accountability for successful delivery of the project from a Safety, Quality, Time and Cost perspective
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with the Client, designers, subcontractors, building officials, local businesses, and authorities.
Drive an un-compromising culture of safety and quality throughout the project workforce and lead by example.
Lead the development of the project execution strategy and provide leadership and guidance to the project team in delivering the project in accordance with the execution strategy.
Work in close collaboration with the Engineering design management and design consultants to ensure the design incorporates constructability, construction methodology and value engineering considerations.
Lead by example and take accountability for the projects EH&S performance.
Take ownership of project quality standards, ensuring the final delivered product meets our clients requirements.
Oversee the project procurement strategy, maintain a detailed understanding of Head and Subcontracts, and work with the commercial team for all budget and cost related matters.
Take ownership of project schedule and head contract milestones, and ensure any significant issues are raised to senior management.
To be successful you will need:
Recognized Degree in Building, Construction Management, Engineering (Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical), Architecture or related disciplines.
Min. 15 years’ experience in leading and delivering successful large-scale Greenfield/Brownfield GMP projects for tier-1 life sciences clients across entire project lifecycle.
Strong leadership skills and proven experience leading large multi-national and multi-cultural project teams.
Proven experience delivering large-scale Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical projects.
A high regard for Environmental Health, Safety & Quality culture and practice.
Planning, organising and analytical skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively on tight deadlines.
Good interpersonal and collaborative skills to prepare reports, negotiate, build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
