Senior Specialist, Data & Infrastructure Lead

We are seeking a Data & Analytics/Infrastructure Lead to develop, support, and manage data analytics, site IT infrastructure, and other digitalization solutions. Responsibilities

  • Develop, support, and manage Data & Analytics and other digitalization solutions.
  • Support Site IT operations to ensure 100% availability of IT and network infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with other Digital teams (Foundational & Digital Services) and Technology Infrastructure, Operations, & Experience (TIO&E) teams to effectively manage site IT changes and incidents.
  • Innovate new solutions and business models, applying technical knowledge and experience to develop, deploy, and support IT-OT systems for a large pharmaceutical manufacturing company.
  • Foster collaboration with divisional data & analytics leads and D&A engineers from network sites to share and implement best practices.
  • Partner with the divisional Data Science team to develop and implement GenAI, machine learning solutions, etc., for manufacturing processes.
  • Coordinate with global Leads, Program Managers, and Business stakeholders to plan, estimate, and deliver digital/transformational initiatives efficiently and effectively, ensuring program execution aligns with organizational goals.
  • Develop, review, and approve technical documents for assigned programs/projects, including design documents, User Acceptance Test executions, change controls, risk assessments, and release notes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining the highest levels of data security and integrity.
  • Lead the evaluation and integration of new technologies and tools to enhance data analytics capabilities and drive innovation within the organization.


Qualifications​ Required

  • Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent degree.
  • 3 – 4 years of experience in data analysis and IT operations.
  • Passionate about working with new technologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Some experience in IT operations and systems (SAP, MES, LIMS), shop floor automation systems, and manufacturing.
  • Written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with business and technical teams.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team across global hubs, maintaining a highly collaborative and transparent effort.


Preferred

  • Experience in IT/Automation projects and operation management.
  • Familiarity with advanced/emerging technology trends such as SMACIT (Social, Mobile, Analytics, Cloud, and Internet of Things), AR/VR, Blockchain, and Data Science.
  • Experience with SCADA/Data Acquisition systems.
  • Strong experience in SQL and data visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau, and Spotfire.
  • Knowledge of IT-OT convergence.
  • Programming experience in Python/R.
  • Familiarity with Big Data Engineering and ETL.
  • Experience working in a large global matrix organization.
  • Working experience/knowledge in a manufacturing environment.
