Forbell International Institute is a forward-thinking educational institution offering a range of programs that meet industry demands. We are seeking experienced and passionate adjunct lecturers to deliver International Air Transport Association (IATA) courses in the following areas of study:

  • Airline Operations & Quality
  • Airline Safety
  • Airport and Ground Operations – Operational Security

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lectures, workshops, and hands-on training for IATA programs in compliance with IATA standards.
  • Design and adapt course content and materials to meet industry best practices and student learning needs.
  • Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and exams, ensuring constructive feedback is provided.
  • Incorporate case studies, industry scenarios, and real-world examples to enhance practical learning.
  • Stay updated with developments in aviation operations, safety, and security to maintain program relevance.
  • Collaborate with the academic team to improve course delivery and address any program challenges.
  • Foster an inclusive and engaging learning environment that accommodates a diverse student cohort.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • Certification in relevant IATA programs is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in aviation operations, safety, or airport ground handling.
  • Prior teaching or training experience in higher education or industry is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Familiarity with online teaching platforms and digital tools for remote learning (preferred).

Instructional Skills:

  • Technical expertise and demonstrated proficiency in instructional delivery, including:
  • Instructional Design
  • Instructional Techniques
  • Training Needs Assessment

Language Skills:

  • Instruction in English: ICAO Level 5 (Extended) proficiency in English, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Instruction in a language other than English: ICAO Level 4 (Operational) in English and ICAO Level 5 (Extended) in the language of instructional delivery.

Computer Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Deep knowledge of aviation operations, quality management, and safety/security protocols.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students with varied academic and professional backgrounds.
  • Commitment to upholding academic integrity and delivering excellence in education.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 6 per week
