About the location:

The Four Seasons Resort Maldives is currently looking for a Digital Marketing Manager who shares our passion for excellence and is enthusiastic about creating memorable guest experiences. Digital Marketing Manager for Four Seasons Resorts Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru, Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa, Four Seasons Private Island Maldives at Voavah, Four Seasons Explorer Palau is a part of a diverse and dynamic team that provides award-winning service to our valued guests. This position is full time and based in Singapore and reports to the Sr. Director of PR.

Summary

The Digital Marketing Manager establishes brand and channel preference, generates revenue and executes data-driven strategy for Four Seasons Resorts Maldives, Four Seasons Private Island Maldives at Voavah, and Four Seasons Explorer Palau. The Digital Marketing Manager supports the Regional Commercial Director and Senior Director of Public Relations and Communications to execute strategies in digital marketing, online reputation management, and measures success through outcomes supported by analytics and reporting. A clear understanding of the Four Seasons brand guidelines and effective execution of them are essential.

Special Requirement:

  • Experience with Google platforms, Adobe Analytics/ Google Analytics, Social Media platforms, consumer engagement and strong awareness of the digital world.
  • Ability to manage third-party agencies, partners, and vendors.
  • Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and organization.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively, managing multiple projects while being cognizant of deadlines and priorities.
  • Hospitality experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Three to five years of experience in a digital marketing capacity
  • College education required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Digital Marketing

  • Supports the Resorts’ digital strategy with a proactive approach to all digital and electronic marketing platforms. Designs and implements digital campaigns that support the Resorts’ commercial goals to drive digital direct room revenue and channel mix growth, and restaurant and bar revenue.
  • Oversees and optimizes online presence of Resorts including SEO content and images on Four Seasons owned channels (FS.com, Four Seasons App, Preferred Partners website) and external websites (OTA and Amex), ensuring alignment with the Resorts’ positioning, business objectives, and storytelling. Supports Regional Commercial Director and manages agency partners to drive digital marketing tactics including SEO, PPC/SEM, PMax, Demand Gen, Paid Social, Metasearch and email marketing to ensure best practices, messaging and creatives are updated and aligned across all platforms.
  • Manage Local Mailing List Manager and communication schedule to this audience.
  • Establish a robust digital performance management process and a forward-looking approach to media planning, ensuring digital opportunities are maximized.
  • Develop briefs for digital campaigns, oversee paid media content strategy, manage creative trafficking, analyzing results, and reporting on key learnings.
  • Partners with Director of Revenue Management to monitor FS.com performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Actively engage with Four Seasons Regional Corporate team to optimise results.
  • Deliver strategy and implementation to improve Resorts’ Google’s Brand Penetration Score.
  • Monitor Search volume for Resorts, providing insights on changes and new geo-source opportunities.
  • Conduct a digital benchmark on a regular basis with key competitors (local, national, international), identifying local market insights and in the luxury space (retail, travel) to determine opportunities to improve our digital content and solutions.
  • Monitors online reputation and report sentiment to internal stakeholders.

Paid Media

  • Formulate a strategy based on geo markets and seasonality on a monthly basis in advance of each quarter to drive revenue.
  • Collaborate with property PR team to ensure Paid Media content on digital channels are aligned to ECI, while supporting Paid Social objectives.
  • Coordination of Resorts’ participation in corporate global integrated campaigns.
  • Deliver insights from Paid Media campaign dashboards
  • Executes strategies within the Paid Media Restaurant & Bar Toolkit to ensure maximum exposure for Resort outlets on paid digital channels.

Public Relations and Communications

  • Manages the supply chain and timelines of all print collaterals and mobile gif including negotiating costs, design, copy and press checks to ensure quality.
  • Ensure that all Resorts’ collateral are in keeping with Four Seasons brand guidelines (ECI-compliant) and reflect the highest level of professionalism in content and presentation.
  • Proof reads all marketing material, including: collateral, direct mail, advertising, printed promotional pieces, guest correspondence, etc as required.
  • Manages all electronic direct mail campaigns to end users and the travel trade.
  • Maintains image library and ensure that images are updated in a timely manner.
  • Participates in departmental PR and Sales & Marketing meetings.

ANALYTICS/REPORTING:

  • Leverages full suite of online reporting tools including Adobe Analytics and Datorama ensuring activities are monitored and optimized against the pre-established KPIs.
  • Provides monthly digital KPI, paid media performance and Revinate reports. Support with other marketing reports as assigned.
  • Consults monthly Inspire program email reporting to view impressions, bookings and revenues generated through this brand program.
  • Leverages Google Travel Insights and Google Hotel Insights, reporting on opportunities.
  • Provides action plan for continuous improvement to Marketing Scorecard on ROAS, Brand Penetration Score, Direct Non-Commissionable Published Revenue.
  • Invoice reconciliation across paid media agencies and key partners.

SUPPORTING FUNCTIONS:

  • Support PR team with Crisis Communications monitoring as required
  • Performs other tasks or projects as assigned by the Regional Commercial Director and Senior Director of Public Relations & Communications.
  • Acts as a brand ambassador to our Resorts and Four Seasons at all times, both in and out of the resort and on personal social media accounts.
