About the Role

The Senior Manager / Associate Director, Group Healthcare Provider Operations will support the Director in building up the provision business within AIA and driving vertical integration and synergies under the Integrated Healthcare Strategy (IHS).

The role aims to assist the Director in conducting due diligence of clinical practices for acquisition or collaboration and post transaction integration.

The role will also support the Director developing business, clinical and operational best practices within AIA owned provision business to uphold industry good standards.

The role will work with the LBU Healthcare leaders together with the Director to assist LBU in growing their provision business and drive synergies with the insurance business.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in the opportunity assessment for healthcare provider vertical integration.
  • Support the Clinical & Operational Due Diligence process for potential provider acquisitions.
  • Support the LBUs with post transaction integrations to applicable AIA standards and policies, governance structure and performance management reporting.
  • Work with Group Healthcare Clinical Governance to develop clinic policies, standards, KPIs for measuring clinical outcome and ensure adherence to the policies and standards for clinical operations.
  • Develop provision quality assurance standards on clinic operations including facility & patient journey management.
  • Support delivery of clinical service transformation in our AIA owned providers through effective provider management development, process enhancement and system investment
  • Provides the programme delivery, skill, and expertise to develop the strategic prioritization, the design and subsequent execution of best practice in clinical operations that drive the transformation of our customer health journeys in AIA owned facilities resulting in a material impact on financial results across AIA’s owned healthcare provision.
  • Delivers the documentation and maintenance of best practice toolkits in clinical operations design & delivery.
  • Support the development and implementation of an ongoing assessment and monitoring processes for clinical operational execution.
  • The role may require travel and time in local markets throughout Asia-Pacific to support local capability uplift, strategic ideation, and operational execution.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of clinic management experience in large clinic networks
  • Expertise in clinic operational service best practice and optimal care delivery practices
  • Experience in healthcare operations from primary, secondary, and tertiary care as well as overall operational flow
  • Strong analytical skills necessary to accurately define and execute facility improvement programs whilst meeting local legal regulations.
  • Wider experience of clinical and operational performance management using relevant analytics e.g., Diagnosis-related grouping and Value-based care measurements will be an added advantage.
  • Experience across clinical service settings including specialist outpatient centres, imaging diagnostics, laboratory and day surgery centre.
  • Experience in clinical operations programme management and deliver of business and cost outcomes, bringing an organization’s vision into fruition.
  • Strong analytical skills in extracting, organizing and analysing business and operational data to draw insights and aid decision making.
  • Ability to conduct market research independently or collaborate with external advisors.
  • Flexible, able to work in dynamic environment and across cultures and willing/able to travel.
  • Strong programme management and organizational skills are essential.
  • Track record in setting up or operating clinical business in Southeast Asia markets preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks or projects effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational abilities and proven track record in day-to-day clinical activity management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
