About the job:

This role is part of the Singapore operations team and is responsible for vendor management for ASEAN supporting the Operations manager for overall delivery of business & supply chain objectives.

This role performs vendor management which include vendor PO placement and follow up with vendor on the fulfillment schedule. Working closely with planner for orders with global constraint / demand challenge. He/She ensures timely process of order and Purchase Order (PO) placed is fulfilled.

What you will be doing:

Act as the first point of contact for the vendor management process including issue of vendor PO and fulfilled ASEAN order by achieving this through a close working relationship with Suppliers, planner, Operation team and other internal / external teams.

Vendor management

  • Vendor PO placement for ASEAN.
  • Follow up all vendor PO for ASEAN.
  • Follow up with vendors on all open order status till fulfillment of order.
  • Work closely with demand planner teams especially for order with global constraint / demand forecasting issue.
  • Support the team in Intercompany transfer of inventory for Singapore and Malaysia.
  • Work with Operation to report shipment discrepancy.

Logistics

  • Manage import / export, customs clearance process for Singapore.
  • Manage shipment discrepancy for both Singapore and Malaysia.
  • Backup for Singapore customer order management.
  • Daily operations support & support enquires from commercial, finance teams etc.

Who are we looking for:

  • Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or related fields.
  • 2 - 3 years working experience in customer service / logistics/ supply chain MNC commercial settings preferred.
  • Medical Device experience is an advantage.
  • JDE / SAP working experience a strong plus.
