Job Purpose:
Plans and directs sales activities including managing the regions or locations sales and marketing representatives to achieve revenue and yield goals. Coordinates customer quotations assigns account responsibilities and establishes and maintains communications between sales and marketing and other staff. Establishes and maintains positive relationships with customers manufacturers representatives and suppliers. Brings together and deploys the individuals processes and resources to meet customer needs. Drives focus on individual customer profitability.
Responsibilities:
Mange the Sales Departments resources and personnel to obtain maximum benefit through recruiting training organization and leadership.
Develop manage and evaluate Sales Department compensation plans to promote the success of sales programs and maintain current requirements.
Formulate and recommend plans policies goals and objectives for the organizations sales activities to expand market share in existing markets and capture new markets.
Develop and executive both short- and long-range sales plans and programs in conjunction with Senior Management to ensure profitability and growth of the company's products.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
8+ years of progressively responsible sales experience in the computer distribution industry.
3+ years management experience.
Education and Certification(s): High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred in Marketing or Business.
