Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to drive new sales and expand add-on revenue through strategic value propositions and impactful customer engagements. This role focuses on aligning CSG’s solutions with customer go-to-market strategies, positioning CSG as the preferred provider in target markets. The ideal candidate will identify opportunities within both new and existing accounts to grow bookings and revenue while ensuring outstanding customer service. As a recognized subject matter expert and advanced individual contributor, you will develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Leadership:
- Design and implement strategies to enhance CSG’s performance in target markets, driving growth within new and existing accounts.
- Demonstrate thought leadership by overcoming objections, building consensus, and securing significant customer investments in CSG products and services.
Pipeline Development:
- Generate and manage sales opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and relationship building.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to close deals and ensure successful implementation of solutions.
Customer Engagement:
- Educate customers on how CSG products deliver competitive advantages and ROI.
- Tailor messaging to various decision-makers, build strong relationships across customer organizations, and influence sales processes while addressing objections.
Sales Process Management:
- Develop and present complete value propositions for CSG solutions.
- Lead pricing negotiations and contractual agreements.
- Craft and deliver compelling sales proposals from initial inquiries to finalizing commercial agreements.
- Manage pursuit teams, coordinating internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, and external partners.
Market Insights and Trends:
- Monitor economic, industry, and competitive trends to identify potential opportunities and risks.
- Share insights with internal teams and leverage them to strengthen sales strategies.
Compliance and Integrity:
- Ensure adherence to all applicable regulations, industry standards, and internal policies, including compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and CSG security standards.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of formal field sales experience in CSG’s target markets.
- Proven track record in identifying, qualifying, and closing high-value prospects and accounts.
Skills:
- Executive-level presence with the ability to lead large, complex sales opportunities.
- Strong strategic planning and problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills for influencing and negotiating complex deals.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of exceeding sales quotas.
