HP Spark Management Associate - MEMS Process/Product Engineer
Description -
HP is committed to nurture our next generation of leaders for tomorrow and promote collaboration across our multi-generational workforce. Under the 15 months SPARK Management Associate Program, you will undergo an accelerated induction experience to fast-track your career in the technology industry. You will learn and appreciate different aspects of the business, within one of our business segments to work in upon graduation.
What a MEMS Process/Product Engineer does at HP:
- The process / product engineer is a team member of the MEMS (micro-electromechanical systems) organization and responsible for sustaining the existing generation of technology, leading and supporting the transition of products and manufacturing processes from prototype to full production, and for developing new processes in support of new product or technology development.
- The process engineer is responsible for employing equipment technology, process technology and problem-solving methodologies to improve manufacturing performance, decrease proto cycles of learning, and enable the development of next-generation technology. The process engineer is the technical leader of their respective workcenter and is expected to partner with world-wide work center counterparts. The process engineer also takes an active role in the MEMS quality system.
- The product engineer develops and implements integrated MEMS engineering solutions to deliver to new MEMS Printhead product and/or resolve MEMS Printhead quality issues. The product engineer develops MEMS qualification plans, risk assessment, test plans and perform characterization to qualify product/process changes.
- In new product or technology development, the MEMS process / product engineer collaborates with cross-functional HP teams to enable new product development and introduction and drive Printhead Extensions Development for revenue generation, incremental gross margin and customer experience improvement.
- In sustaining operation, the MEMS process / product engineer performs data extraction and analysis work using statistical analysis tools to improve / sustain wafer yield through monitoring of product yield and failure pareto trending. Derive insights from critical product and process parameters monitoring, highlight failures to the MEMS engineering team, problem solve and drive continuous improvement through product design / process / direct material / quality gates and / or specifications refinement.
