Main purpose of the job

The primary purpose of the Global Deployment Lead for Asahi Procurement is to orchestrate the successful implementation and execution of the procurement platforms on a global scale, ensuring seamless collaboration among teams and the effective deployment of procurement programs across diverse regions.

Accountabilities and deliverables

1. Implement Procurement purpose, vision, strategies and governance.

2. Lead the strategic deployment of global procurement initiatives ensuring alignment with organizational goals

3. Manage and lead a diverse global team, providing guidance and support to ensure cohesion and achievement of objectives

4. Responsible for the delivery of the overall strategic portfolio of digital projects for Asahi Procurement per scope, to perfect quality, to timelines and on budget.

5. Foster collaboration among cross-functional teams to facilitate the successful execution of procurement strategies with focus on platform deployment

6. Oversee the end-to-end project management of the procurement platform deployment, from planning to execution and continuous improvement

7. Promote one team spirit between all regions to enable sharing of best practices and knowledge.

8. Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with global procurement system deployment, ensuring compliance with relevant internal and external regulations. Protect reputation of Asahi by following applicable legislation.

9. Establish and ensures appropriate governance in accordance with enterprise policies, practices and on behalf of the executive sponsor or senior responsible owner.

10. Establish and monitor performance metrics to evaluate the success and impact of the global procurement initiatives

11. Protect all company’s assets by putting in place internal control system and procedures.

12. Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external to drive effective program delivery

13. Advocate and foster Sustainable Procurement (including CSR) and Procurement innovation strategies and projects.

14. Monitors and coordinates dependencies across the projects in the portfolio and resolves conflicts

15. Develops and controls the project budgets and manages expenditure within agreed spending plans

16. Implement continuous improvement of Procurement capabilities and practices in alignment with the overall Asahi strategy and external benchmarks. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the deployment programs and initiatives, optimizing efficiency and effectiveness.

17. Implement Procurement technical competency framework including delivery of trainings in relevant processes and systems

Requirements

Qualification criteria

  • University degree, preferably in Business related field
  • Fluent English communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
  • 5+ years of professional experience, whereof 3+ years in the project management
  • International experience from multinational company
  • Experience from an above-market role
  • Advanced level of MS Office Suite
