role overview
As a Communications Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in executing and supporting the company’s internal, event, and social media communications strategies across APAC. Reporting to the Regional Head of Communications, this role requires a hands-on professional with a strong background in marketing or public relations, ideally from an agency setting.
Duration: 1-year contract
• Internal Communications
• * Develop and disseminate engaging content to employees across APAC.
• Support leadership communication initiatives, including newsletters, announcements, and internal events.
• Collaborate with HR to drive employee engagement programs.
• Event Communications
• Plan and manage communication strategies for corporate events, webinars, and trade shows.
• Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all event-related materials.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support event promotion and post-event follow-ups.
• Social Media Communications
• Create and manage content calendars for APAC social media channels.
• Develop compelling copy and visuals tailored for relevant platforms.
• Monitor social media performance and optimize strategies to enhance engagement.
• Regional Collaboration
• Coordinate with local teams in APAC markets to ensure communications align with regional and global objectives.
• Provide support and guidance to country-level communications leads as needed.
skills and experience required
• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in marketing, public relations, or corporate communications, with hands-on experience in a marketing/public relations agency preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong content creation skills across various formats (written, visual, and digital).
• Proficiency in managing social media platforms and tools.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
