  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

The School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS) at NTU Singapore hosts research and education activities in two divisions: Division of Mathematical Sciences (MAS) and Division of Physics and Applied Physics (PAP). MAS covers diverse topics ranging from pure mathematics to the applications of mathematics in cryptography, computing, business, and finance. PAP covers many areas of fundamental and applied physics, including quantum information, condensed matter physics, biophysics, and photonics. Over the years, SPMS has attracted talented individuals from around the world and Singapore to join as scientific leaders and researchers.

Join the laboratory of Bei Xiaohui at SPMS. We are seeking a Project Officer to contribute to a project focused on algorithm design in Game Theory and Fair Division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate mathematical models for research problems in computational economics

  • Develop state-of-the-art algorithms in algorithmic game theory and fair division

  • Design and conduct experiments to evaluate the algorithm performance

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or related field

  • Familiarity with concepts in theoretical computer science and game theory

  • Good written and oral communication skills

  • Competent in deriving mathematical proofs

  • Ability to work independently and develop solutions under strict timelines

  • Entry level candidates are welcome to apply
