Operations Associate

Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end trade settlement, with working knowledge of corporate action of Equities, Mutual funds, Options.
• Check and verify all securities/trade transactions are completed, settlements instructions are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Review all trade matching reports and ensure all failed trades are promptly resolved.
• Processing of Corporate action events in an accurate, timely manner and adhere to deadlines.
• Reconciliation trade/shares, corporate actions.
• Adhering to control procedures, identifying gaps, and ensuring controls are implemented to close those gaps.
• Interpret data and make necessary recommendations for the launch of new products/services and upgraded platforms.
• Adhering to control procedures, manage the escalation and seek to resolve all requests/inquiries/issues/errors, identify policy gaps and formulate policies to streamline processes.
• Participate in project initiatives and take up ad hoc tasks as required.
• Assist in other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in capital market with strong background in corporate action.
• Corporate action and/or settlement experience in either stockbroking firms will be an advantage.
• Possess knowledge and experience in ETF/Options/ Mutual funds.
• Attention to detail and intermediate problem-solving skills and be able to multi-task well.
• Mandarin & English is a necessity as this role will be expected to work closely with colleagues based in China.
• Enjoys engaging in teamwork with a positive and constructive attitude.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresh graduate

Pay: $3,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month
