Job Description
The Job
- Represent Catapult as the first point of contact for Catapult members, guests, visitors and walk-ins
- Ensure smooth operations on campus and active in constantly reviewing and improving processes
- Work closely with the Operations Lead to drive campus related opportunities with sales and opportunities
- Work closely with the Community team to drive campus-community related opportunities with assistance on both community partnerships and events
Responsibilities:
Campus front of house
- Answer enquiries from walk-in or Catapult website contact us page about spaces opportunity and events spaces, schedule tours and then linking them to Business Development/Sales team.
- Be the first point of contact for members’ issues including: wi-fi, printer, app, membership, billing, etc.)
- Conduct workspace and event tours to work towards and maintain full occupancy
Operations
- Ensure smooth day to day operations of the space, including keeping pantry stocked, be the point of contact for repair and servicing of furniture.
- Ensure that the space is clean and well maintained
- Manage access levels for different membership teams on backend system
- Work with finance/Digital team to address member concern on campus issues
- Assist team in sourcing goods and services as required on ad hoc basis
- Provide feedback to Catapult team on operational related issues and potential solutions for campus
- Implement best practices including, but not limited to, sales, events, training, and member experiences as well as document processes
- Administrative work including Finance operations related such as:
- Account receivable: Monthly & adhoc billing of invoices, matching bank statement to invoices (receipting process)
- Account payable: Verification and consolidation of invoices for purpose of uploading
- Monthly consolidation of campus’s approvals/contracts
- Yearly internal and external audits
Campus community and experience management
- Liaise and co-ordinate with the community team to plan and execute strategies to attract and grow the community
- Plan and conduct onboarding and orientation for new members (example: Knowledge Providers) at Catapult
- Engage in the larger learning community and make introductions when appropriate so it involves getting to know the members individually and identify their objectives
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma with relevant working experience
- Well organized and meticulous
- Able to think on your feet to resolve ground issues and have a hands-on approach to all operational aspects
- A team player who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-driven and efficient, with dynamic problem-solving skills
