Position: Management Trainee, Kitchen
Working schedule: 5 days per week, inclusive of weekends
Overview: We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Management Trainee, Kitchen at our esteemed Japanese Soba restaurant. From preparing traditional Japanese soba noodles to crafting delicious desserts, your contributions will directly impact our guests' dining experience.
Responsibilities:
Dessert Station:
Prepare and plate traditional Japanese desserts according to restaurant standards.
Ensure desserts are presented aesthetically and in a timely manner.
Age (Deep Fry) Station:
Execute deep-frying techniques for a variety of ingredients including tempura.
Monitor oil temperature and maintain proper frying techniques to achieve desired results.
Soba Making:
Skillfully craft traditional Japanese soba noodles from scratch.
Follow SOP to produce high-quality soba noodles consistently.
Soba Cooking:
Cook soba noodles to perfection according to SOP.
Setter:
Ensure proper portioning and presentation of each dish before served to guests.
Additional Housekeeping Duties:
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.
Other ad-hoc duties as assign by the Manager.
