Job Description
We are seeking a passionate Commercial & Analytics Manager to join our flight commercial team. In this role, you will help create and deliver critical services and processes to enhance Traveloka products, particularly on the Supply side.
As a Commercial & Analytics Manager, you will lead a team focused on analytics to drive sustainable and profitable growth for Traveloka and our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to support the domain lead in Commercial Strategy from an analytical perspective,maximization efforts for flight revenue streams. This includes developing and implementing strategic frameworks, governance routines, and analytic tools that will enable you to deliver actionable recommendations to improve existing programs and assess the Return on Investment (ROI) of new initiatives.
In this high-impact role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, especially, the Market Management team.
Your responsibility include:
Analyze and model regional airline partnership deals, forecasting performance and profitability.
Provide data-backed recommendations to optimize incentive structures and commercial terms.
Support negotiation teams with actionable insights and scenario planning.
Prepare data-driven presentations and insights for business reviews with airline partners.
Highlight performance trends, market dynamics, and improvement opportunities to strengthen partnerships.
Track and report on key metrics such as market share, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction.
Lead the Analytics team to develop tools to support Market Managers in monitoring of performance of key markets, routes, and airlines, providing actionable insights to improve supply strategies.
Partner with internal teams, including Market Managers, Marketing, FP&A, Product, and Data, to align on goals and strategies.
Serve as the bridge between data analytics and business teams to ensure insights translate into impactful actions.
Collaborate with data teams to improve tools and dashboards for deal modeling, performance tracking, and competitive analysis.
Ensure data accuracy and streamline reporting processes to enhance efficiency and decision-making.
Partner with Marketing and Market Managers to define the monitoring and reporting formats in promotion categories, ensure alignment to commercial objectives and promo strategies.
Responsible for analysis, execution, and distributing insights / recommendations, and lead communication and alignment to Supply Management organizations.
Monitor the implementation of quantitative models to optimize efficiency and effectiveness of the Market Management team outputs, ensure the model is reflective of the business objectives
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
3+ years of experience as a business analyst, preferably in OTA,TMC, airline, or travel industry sectors.
Proven experience in deal modeling, market analysis, and competitive benchmarking.
Proficiency in analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and Excel.
Strong understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and statistical analysis.
Familiarity with airline content distribution systems (e.g., GDS, NDC) is an advantage.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex insights to diverse audiences.
High attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Deep understanding of the airline industry, OTA business models, and regional market dynamics.
Ability to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders.
