Pathlight School is the first autism-focused school in Singapore to offer the national curriculum together with life readiness skills. It caters to students on the autism spectrum with related conditions, aged 7 to 18 years, who are cognitively able to access national curriculum but require additional support such as smaller class sizes, special accommodations and teaching staff trained in autism.
The Information Technology (IT) team provides an enabling, robust and supportive technological environment fuelled by ICT polices which must be designed to empower users and yet guided by principles of accountability, security and privacy. Ultimately, it is the rocket fuel of the organisation, jetting it forward and yet safe to use.
We seek an energetic technical specialist to drive our vision of a next-gen learning community. This role involves delivering operational excellence and innovative IT solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to meet organizational needs, and implementing ERP systems. Candidates should excel in data analytics, warehousing, and process charting.
As an IT Specialist (Applications), your Impact and Contribution includes:
- Administering, monitoring and managing the organisation’s applications and portals (inhouse or subscribed)
- Work with stakeholders to design, plan and implement progressive improvements and agreed user access architecture to the application/portal’s infrastructure
- Administering, monitoring and managing the organisation’s ERP systems (e.g. School Information System, eCommerce and other related systems)
- Mentor and guide IT Support colleagues, performing Level 1 IT support role where required (e.g. during an influx of support requests, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and SOPs and contribute proactively to meeting the department goals and KPIs including status reports on projects
- Any other responsibilities assigned by your Supervisor
Requirements
- Degree in Information Technology or related field
- Min. 2 years of relevant experience in IT Applications / implementing digital projects
- Possess good written, verbal and visual communication skills
- Adaptable and fast learner in various learning and workplace technologies and have a clinical eye in seeing the application benefits in the organisation’s environment.
- Adept in application tools including Microsoft, web2.0 tools and different cloud-based solutions
- Able to work independently as well as working in a team setting
