High Power Electromagnetics Engineer
In this role, you will:
- Conduct research and development in high power electromagnetic area such as circuitries or devices that generate high power electromagnetic fields
- Analyse specifications/requirements from users
- Use analytical techniques or computational modelling to validate the design of the circuitries or devices as well as to understand the effect of high-power electromagnetics on electronics
- Design, develop test plan, conduct experiment and analyse results on high power electromagnetic experiments and identify any gaps
- Support the complete R&D project life cycle and participate in all phases from concepts to demonstrations, including design, prototyping and validation and refinement of designs
Requirements
- PhD / Masters / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical engineering or any related field
- Familiar with software simulation tools such as CST, Solidworks etc.
- Familiar with operating measurement equipment such as oscilloscope, vector network analyzer, spectrum analyzer etc.
- Familiar with operating high voltage equipment/component such as power supply, spark gap switches, semiconductor switches and diodes
- Strong in analytical and problem-solving skills
