Pathlight School is the first autism-focused school in Singapore to offer the national curriculum together with life readiness skills. It caters to students on the autism spectrum with related conditions, aged 7 to 18 years, who are cognitively able to access national curriculum but require additional support such as smaller class sizes, special accommodations and teaching staff trained in autism.

The Human Resources team manages the heart of the organization (i.e., its people), from recruitment and training to employee engagement and relations. The team ensures a skilled and dedicated workforce committed to a common mission.

We are seeking an individual with a well-rounded experience in the Human Resource field and keen to contribute in a purpose-driven organisation to join us as a Senior Manager, HR Business Partner. You will be part of our dedicated Human Resource (HR) team providing HR services partnering our leaders, in support of building and strengthening our people agenda to achieve our organization's goals of Transforming Lives in ARC(S) and Pathlight School. The Organisation is in a growth phase and the HR organisation is on a transformation journey. There will be opportunities to grow professionally and lead.

As a Senior Manager, Business Partner, your impact and contribution includes:

  • Working closely with the Senior Director, Human Resources and HR team to deliver HR services to achieve organisation goals.
  • Utilizing data analytics to support ongoing strategy reviews and decision-making.
  • Perform the role of HR Business Partner covering selected business entities under ARC(S). This role includes driving the people agenda for this group, guide and upskill leaders and employees on HR policies and practices, people management as well as facilitating strong employee engagement and development.
  • Lead in strategic management of wellness initiatives and design practices and programs to nurture the emotional, physical and mental well-being of employees across the whole organisation.
  • Lead in the review and rollout of HR Policies with HR leads.
  • Support internal communications and partner in key initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

  • Successful track record in HR business partnering and have performed various functions within the Human Resource function
  • Able to operate at the level of strategy, implementation and handling operational issues
  • Good knowledge of Employment Act and contracts
  • Is a leader and able to communicate and relate well across all levels of the organisation
  • Resilient, resourceful and seeks collaboration for best outcome
  • Strong team-player
