Sea Freight Opertaions Executive

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sea Freight Operations Executive to join our dynamic team. As a Sea Freight Operations Executive, you will be responsible for connecting and maintaining our existing clients.

Your primary goal will be to managing shipments and negotiates rates for our client.

Responsibilities:

• Responding to customer inquiries, providing quotes, and managing expectations regarding shipment timelines and costs.
• Negotiating rates with shipping lines and booking container space for shipments.
• Preparing and processing all necessary shipping documents like bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, and certificates of origin.
• Coordinating customs formalities, including filing declarations and managing related documentation.
• Monitoring shipment progress through the entire journey using tracking systems.
• Arranging pick-up and delivery of cargo with trucking companies, including inland transportation.
• Overseeing container allocation, loading, and discharge processes.
• Calculating freight costs, including ocean freight, customs fees, and inland transportation.
• Ensuring adherence to all relevant shipping regulations and industry standards.
• Identifying and resolving issues that may arise during the shipping process.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Proficiency in shipping documentation and customs procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, shipping lines, and other stakeholders
• Experience with freight forwarding software and logistics systems
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of import/export regulations and relevant trade compliance requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $3,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

• Performance bonus
