Purpose and Scope

Conceptualize and develop ideas, assess needs of the building(s) of a project according to the business requirements and present it for management ‘s review.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare design feasibility studies to support business plans;
• Draft scopes of work for procuring and manage design consultants and vendors who are working on the project(s);
• Support Project Manager in tender documentation preparation and evaluations throughout the entire project tender process;
• Review design proposals of consultants and propose cost effective & functional design suggestions to consultants;
• Assist Project Manager to resolve design problems and issues that arise during construction;

• Carry out any other ad-hoc design management-related tasks when needed;

Qualification, Skills, and Experience

• Degree in Architecture with 8-10 years’ relevant experience in industrial, mixed-use development projects will be considered favorably;
• Previous experience in overseas building projects in Vietnam and/or Indonesia is an added advantage;
• Practical experience in design and complete execution of building projects, project planning, development management, feasibility studies and cost control;
• Familiarity with the current international design trends and requirements; detailing appropriate to location, climate & needs; building control statutory norms in Vietnam or Indonesia; LEED & other relevant sustainable design standards; and project implementation process is essential;
• Excellent IT skills, including computer-aided design skills, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, BIM software, Photoshop, MS Project;
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
• Written and spoken fluency in English; other languages such as Vietnamese or Bahasa Indonesia are added advantage.
