Duties & Responsibilities
· Collecting and sterilizing of biohazard waste
· Replenishing consumables stock and housekeeping of the laboratory store, tissue culture facilities, core facilities room and sample preparation room
· Washing of glassware and replenishing glassware to cabinets
· Providing autoclaving services of labware and media to research personnel
· Attending to lab deliveries
· Assisting in lab consumables purchases
· Assisting in laboratory operation activities as and when required
· Assisting in chemical waste collection by hazardous waste collection company
· Preparation of 70% ethanol
· Changing of gas cylinders
· Performing stand-in duties when necessary
