We are seeking a highly motivated Mechatronics Intern to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our experienced engineers and contribute to the development and testing of robotic systems. This internship provides a unique opportunity to apply your theoretical knowledge in a practical setting while learning from industry experts.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of robotic systems, including mechanical components, electronics, and control systems
  • Prototype Assembly: Participate in the assembly and integration of robotic prototypes, ensuring they meet design specifications and performance requirements
  • Testing and Validation: Conduct tests and experiments to validate the functionality and performance of mechatronic systems, documenting and analyzing results
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and software developers, to ensure seamless integration of mechatronic components
  • Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot mechatronics-related issues and contribute to finding creative solutions
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of experiments, design changes, and improvements

What do we look out for?

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong interest and coursework in mechatronics, robotics, and automation. Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical principles
  • Eagerness to learn and apply new mechatronic concepts and technologies
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous coursework or projects related to robotics and mechatronics
  • Familiarity with CAD software and 3D modelling
  • Basic programming skills (e.g., C/C++, Python) is a plus
  • Experience with sensors, actuators, and microcontrollers

Job Types: Part-time, Internship
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $800.00 - $1,200.00 per month

Work Location: In person
