- Plan and develop content for our fortnightly [email protected] newsletter and related infographics, as well as for ad hoc announcements.
- Undertake the design and development of communications collateral and assets, such as videos, infographics, posters, e-banners, booklets, etc, in support of global HR projects.
- Support/implement relevant communication activities aligned with our employee engagement and health & wellbeing workplans, as well as any change or crisis management priorities.
- Proactively engage internal stakeholders (e.g. subject matter experts, regional and local HR and marketing teams, etc) to design and implement employee communication campaigns and activities.
- Proactively identify ways to amplify the visibility and awareness of Group HR messages to the wider employee population through different communication channels/platforms.
- Undertake key administrative responsibilities, such as managing/updating the People and Culture Sharepoint page, employee communications calendar, document libraries, etc.
- Manage and share communication resources with the HR network as required.
- Drive employee engagement and HR activities for Finance, Technology and Legal functions with a focus on the following:
- Intranet site
- Bi-monthly newsletters
- “People in Spotlight” series (monthly)
- Monthly L&D Program Guide
- Two employee recognition programs (one held every six months and another one held annually)
- Communications design for all mailers going out from Tech Communications and Finance Communication mailboxes
- Communications planning for all new HR initiatives
- Assistance with L&D Framework
- Ensure alignment between Group HR and Corporate HR priorities in the delivery of communications and engagement activities to Finance, Technology and Legal employees.
- Provide ad hoc communications assistance to Finance, Technology and Legal teams as required.
- Undergraduates and fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Previous experience in communications, such as internships or volunteer roles, ideally within a global or matrixed organisation will be advantageous.
- Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills, including the ability to craft a write-up that conveys the essential messages in a clear, logical manner.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and implement communications campaigns, as well as in sourcing stories and developing original content for newsletters/periodicals.
- Confidence and willingness to proactively reach out to key/senior stakeholders and cross-functional colleagues to explore collaboration opportunities.
- Proactive approach to identifying areas of improvement and/or new ways of doing things towards achieving our employee communication goals.
- Experience in utilising a variety of digital tools and platforms, including Sharepoint, MS Teams, Canva, Adobe Suite, etc, to create key communication assets.
- Basic graphic design, website management and video editing skills and know-how are an added advantage.
- Ability to multitask and work independently and collaboratively as required in a fast-paced industry and environment.
- Willingness to embrace challenges and continually upskill themselves, identify possible solutions to communication challenges through proactive research, discussion, ideation.
