Job Description

Fnp Cakes Pte Ltd is looking for a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Helper / Cleaner to join our team at our Mandai facility. You will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen while supporting daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning & Sanitizing:
• Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment by washing utensils, equipment, and surfaces.
• Perform regular cleaning of floors, walls, and storage areas.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
• Kitchen Assistance:
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as washing and cutting ingredients, under supervision.
• Organize and store kitchen tools and equipment appropriately.
• Assist in receiving and storing deliveries.
• Waste Management:
• Handle and dispose of kitchen waste and recyclables according to company policies.
• Ensure garbage bins are regularly emptied and cleaned.
• General Support:
• Replenish cleaning supplies and report inventory needs to the supervisor.
• Assist team members with ad-hoc tasks as required.

Requirements

• Experience:
• Prior experience in kitchen cleaning or a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Skills:
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Other Requirements:
• Physically fit to handle tasks that involve standing, bending, and lifting.
• Familiarity with food safety and hygiene practices is a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
