Job Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to be part of our RWS2.0 Transformation team. This team member will be part of the Design Management Team and will be focused on the review, feasibility and evaluation of architecture and planning design proposals and implementation on site.
Responsibilities of this role include:
- Manage multiple design consultants through submission into construction
- Review and ensure design intent is consistent across architecture, interior, landscape, lighting consultant submissions
- Ensure design conforms to statutory compliance and manage the submission process to local authorities
- Work across multiple hospitality typologies: Hotel, F&B, Retail, Gaming
- Provide support to the Project Implementation team in preparing RFPs, tender, and award recommendation.
- Manage contracts and LOA as they pertain to the scope and milestones of design consultancy
- Ensure project is within budgetary/user requirements while managing timelines and ensuring quality is upheld
- Conduct design research, feasibility studies and proposals
- Propose space planning and layout options quickly to optimize operational efficiency and guest experience
- Prepare, manage and review presentations with Business Units and the Leadership Team
Job Requirements
- Professional Degree in Architecture
- Min 12-15 years of professional experience with focus on complex, live-environment A&A
- Experience with Hospitality/Resort Architecture and implementation
- Min 3 years of experience in developer setting as Design Manager
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build and maintain good working relationships across departments and teams.
- Possess an understanding of costing, value management, procurement, material supply chain and lead-times is essential
- Highly adaptable and flexible in working within a fluid and dynamic organization.
- Registration with Board of Architects preferred
- Proficient in Autocad / Revit / Sketchup / MS Project
