Your opportunity As a Technical Engineer, you will be required to provide pre-sales and post sales technical and solution support to Traka end customers -local and global, authorized resellers, and internal regional sales teams in Asia. This task includes providing technical specification recommendation, producing system design of an integrated asset management solutions, professional pre and post services, project management off and onsite, online seminar sessions, technical consultations, presentations and solution training, technical certification and the development and management of technical certification training program and materials. You will also be required to assist in all sales activities to develop, grow, and deliver the organization’s business goals by establishing relationships with potential clients, and arranging appointments to understand the client's individual needs and then tailor Traka solution offering to their requirement. The role will perform responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies, and procedures. You will report to the Director Asia, and you possess the ability to have good people skills and confidence to communicate, present, assert and speak to all stakeholders.
It will be your mission to:
- Collaborate with Director – Asia, Project Sales Manager - Asia and our partner base to grow end user accounts through identification of real solution problems and put together an integrated solution that delivers desired performance and set goals by customers.
- Provide pre-Technical Engineering and in-depth on-site post-sales troubleshooting and solutions support to the region.
- Have a strong Project management and maintenance initiatives
- Actively developing solution design recommendations by studying infrastructure plans, technical specifications/requirements, and related customer documents as needed, as well as other professional and technical personnel.
- Provide requests with value proposition and information by going through requirements analysis, technical specification and system design of network-based solutions that integrates with third party HR applications and access control such as Lenel/S2, AMAG, Software House, S2 Security, Honeywell, and others that is supported by Traka.
Be responsible for coordination of on-site proof of concept and trial installations Interface with Traka Product Management / Engineering to conceptualize solutions and construct quality business cases to drive the product development roadmap.
- Be responsible for hardware and software preparation for trade show solution planning, setup and successful showcase as required
- Develop further professional technical knowledge by actively engaging with market sector experts, consultants, and key influencers network.
- Work cohesively with Traka Tech HQ, regional and sales support.
• Present at training seminars and technical presentations on-site and through webinars to potential customers and current Traka users – local and global • Execution of technical certification program to reseller channel in ASIA region and assist in formalization and maintenance of the program materials.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director - Asia from time to time when required.

What you will need... Essential skills and experience
- Information Technology, Network Engineering, Electrical Engineering degree preferred or equivalent certifications and experience.
- Proven reputation of positive customer interaction with minimum 5 years’ experience in the security industry working for the manufacturer and / or security integrator
- Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, Routers, Switches, VPNs, and others)
- Strong systems software, applications, programs development, integration, and knowledge tools (cybersecurity, cloud computing, AI, and machine learning)
- Design documentation skills of schematics, flow charts, topologies, and metrics.
- Strong, resourceful, and flexible presentation skills capabilities
• Experience in solution selling, designs and project management. • Certified with 3rd Party enterprise-level security systems is highly desirable (e.g., Lenel OnGuard, Software House CCURE9000, AMAG Symmetry and others)
- Comfortable working in a highly dynamic environment and able to multi-task.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- A strong Team player who will work closely with other departments.

• Flexibility and adaptability in tackling new tasks. • Skilled in problem solving, delivering the value proposition to customers, recognising software solution, application and integration needs, active potential product development, presentation skills, technical understanding, verbal communication, requirements analysis, innovation. Physical Requirements The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Normal, corrective vision range; ability to see colour and to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
- Ability to work with graphic display units, touchscreens, and others.
- Ability to lift, roll and carry demo equipment up to 50 lbs during travels - plane, vehicle, and others.

The work environment is primarily indoors. The position does require extensive travelling (up to 70%) around the Asia region on business as appropriate.
