Job Responsibilities:
Oversee food preparation and collaborate with management.
Assist in designing creative and appealing menus.
Prepare high-quality dishes with attention to both taste and presentation.
Supervise and manage kitchen staff effectively.
Contribute to menu planning, inventory control, and supply management.
Maintain top-quality food standards and ensure the kitchen remains in excellent condition.
Uphold food safety standards and cleanliness in all stations.
Provide innovative suggestions to enhance kitchen performance.
Train and mentor new employees.
Schedule and manage staff shifts.
Order and manage food supplies.
Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment to ensure functionality.
Address and resolve issues in the kitchen promptly.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a Western kitchen.
A Diploma in Culinary Arts is an advantage.
Positive attitude with the ability to handle feedback professionally.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Driven, passionate, and a team player.
Ability to perform under pressure with a proactive "can-do" approach.
