Who We Need

The Nurse Manager is to provide nursing and operational support across all areas of activity to ensure that the FMDM St Francis Contact (SFC) in Singapore is running smoothly, well-resourced and attention is given to the care for religious sisters (Sisters) who are elderly, vulnerable and facing health challenges.

In details

· To work with Deputy Director of Nursing of Mt Alvernia Hospital (MAH), to ensure appropriate nursing care is given to FMDM Sisters.

· To ensure the Sisters’ well-being by identifying and working with relevant service partners eg MAH Dietetics team on diet plans and Physiotherapist to keep up with appropriate exercise programs.

· To work with the relevant Managers, carers, volunteers and the Sisters to develop ideas and plans, and pull these together to form a flexible structure for the community in which the Sisters can participate according to their gifts and capacity. To implement personalized daily-life schedules for the Sisters who need assistance according to their needs.

· To work with the relevant Managers in the Convent and MAH for the upkeep of the convent as well as participate in budgetary planning and utilization to provide for the welfare of the Sisters.

· To plan and organize good quality religious community life for the Sisters.

Qualifications

· Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse in Singapore, with valid license from Singapore Nursing Board (SNB)

· Bachelor’s degree or diploma in nursing

· Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with 2 years of management experience with strong leadership, organizational and communication skills

· Excellent understanding of nursing practices and procedures
