What you'll do:
As an Events Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing plans for various events and conferences. This includes optimizing direct mail, email, website merchandising, search engines, and social media marketing strategies. You will work closely with a larger marketing team to integrate these events into broader marketing campaigns. Your role will also involve tracking web analytics reports and direct mail campaign analyses to enhance website usability and boost conversion rates. Additionally, you will handle the management of venue and vendors, including sourcing, negotiation, payment, and reconciliation. Presenting event plans to all levels of management will also be a key part of your role.

A proficient understanding of website functionality and email marketing best practices is essential. Experience in the development and delivery of different scales of events – virtual, in-person, hybrid – is highly desirable. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, organizational, written communication skills are crucial for this role. Expertise in Microsoft workflow and collaboration software applications - MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, as well as Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Event Management and Marketing Automation software applications – Marketo, SalesForce, Cvent is a must.
