Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative <<Associate Treasury Manager - Technology and Transformation>> with a strong focus on technology and transformation to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving the evolution of our treasury function by leveraging technology, streamlining processes, and ensuring strategic alignment with VP of Treasury, partnering closely with Treasury Front, Middle and Back Office. The team’s mission is to be a strong foundation to support the establishment and maintenance of an effective, compliant and highly automated group treasury function. The ideal candidate will possess strength in Project Management skillsets, detail-oriented, good communicator, able to bridge gaps between business and technical teams, and experience in Treasury/Finance related tech projects.
Key Responsibilities
This position will be involved in Group Treasury digital transformation projects, working closely with the Technology and Transformation Lead on treasury transformation initiatives to align with the company’s and Treasury’s broader digital and automation strategy, including participation in the evaluation of technologies (such as RPA, AI, and blockchain) and solutions that benefit Treasury and its operations solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
Partner with various internal stakeholder teams to ensure robust system architecture, data integrity, and security in the treasury system. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support corporate objectives and initiatives
Ability to sift out current processes, assess, and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement. Participate, co-lead in discussions with stakeholders and vendors across project phases
Act as the interface between treasury, finance, IT, and external partners, including banks and technology vendors. Develop project plans, utilising project management skillsets to plan, execute, and deliver projects and initiatives on time, within scope, and on budget. Inclusive (not exhaustive) of good documentation, project lifecycle management from initiation to closure, project risk management, stakeholder and issue management, technical oversight
Serve as a change agent by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the treasury team
Conduct cost-benefit analysis justification for new initiatives, experienced with leading and conducting technology RFP and activities that come with it
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration
Minimum 5 years in corporate treasury or finance, managing projects focused on technology-driven transformation. Proven track record of implementing digital solutions in a treasury or finance environment
Strong project management skillsets with experience managing large-scale projects involving cross-functional teams
Strong understanding of Product LIfecycle and agile methodologies
Experience in treasury management systems is a plus
