ITEC is redefining Semiconductor Manufacturing. At ITEC we design and build high-volume, high-speed, and high-accuracy solutions enable our customers to assemble and test 250 million semiconductors every single day.

While the world is moving towards smart electronic control, connectivity, mobility and energy; The Customer & Market team is connecting customers to our high tech solutions. As the Global Sales Director you will report into the Manager Customer & Market, and be part of this Management Team. The role will be located in Malaysia.

The Sales team makes impact by:

  • Defining the sales strategy to expand our market and build sustainable and innovative partnerships
  • Making best-in-class product and service offers
  • Understanding the market and ecosystem and bringing in relevant network and benchmark references
  • Providing customer and market insights for our product portfolio strategy and roadmaps

Your Responsibilities:

  • Own and hit/exceed the sales targets
  • Develop and execute the strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand customer base
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Effectively communicate our value propositions through proposals and presentations
  • Connect to the broader semiconductor equipment ecosystem to understand trends and ensure ITEC delivers best in class products
  • Lead and develop the Global Sales team and further professionalize one standard way of working
  • Represent the voice of the customer towards other departments

Your Profile:

  • Hold a Master’s Degree in a relevant Engineering Discipline and/or a Business Administration/Economics Master degree from a technical background
  • Successful Sales track record and network in semiconductor equipment industry
  • Able to build customer relationships on VP and Director level across factories, procurement, and headquarters
  • Successful track record in leading and developing people
  • Team player that can drive for results in close collaboration with other departments
  • Excellent customer facing, presentation and communication skills
  • Fluent in English; Fluent in Chinese or Dutch is an advantage
  • Travel > 50%
