We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated entry-level business specialist to join our team. This position plays critical role in supporting retail showrooms sales, product portfolio development, sourcing, merchandising, marketing and e-commerce etc.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the purchasing of furniture and support the development of product sales portfolio in alignment with business objectives.
  • Support retail stores to ensure maximum sales and profitability of related merchandises.
  • Identify potential supplier sources, analyse product specification, interview with potential vendors, engage in negotiation with suppliers and vendors. Maintain B2B relationships.
  • Work with suppliers to promote sales and product knowledge training in stores.
  • Set up, maintain and amend product details in the system. Raise purchase orders, create new product codes and generate reports. Manage product quality issues.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive assortment.
  • Actively involved in promotional campaign creation, event sales facilitation and in brand marketing and Public Relations activities.
  • Generate and analyse campaign sales reports, providing actionable insights to future buying strategies and enhance decision-making
  • Inventory Management and Allocation: Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute effective inventory allocation plans, including stock supply updates and adjustment based on sales performance and retail chain needs.
  • Handle ad hoc work assignment.

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate with a Polytechnic Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain or a related field.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving: Able to analyse data sets to identify key trends and insights.
  • Communication and Interpersonal: enabling clear and persuasive interactions with colleagues, clients. Build and maintain professional relationships, fostering collaboration and teamwork.
  • Technical Proficiency: Microsoft Office Suite, Google, Enterprise Data System.
  • Industry Passion: Committed to personal and professional growth within the industry, seeking opportunities to expand knowledge and expertise.

Additional Informations:

  • Work location at Sungei Kadut area
  • 5 day work week (8am to 5.30pm)
  • Transport provided to & fro at Yew Tee MRT.
