What The Role Is

Do you like interacting with people and possess a strong interest in the area of service delivery? If so, we want you to be part of our team at the Singapore Police Force (SPF). The Singapore Police Force (SPF) plays a critical role in keeping Singapore safe and secure with our mission to prevent, deter and detect crime.

The Service Delivery Department is the staff authority for service delivery matters for SPF. Our primary role is to ensure the delivery of high service standards by SPF officers in every interaction with the public so that SPF can discharge its mission effectively and professionally.

As a Customer Relationship officer in Service Feedback Division, you will interact with members of the public who requires timely and professional assistance from the police regarding their feedback and transactions with the police. You will also be required to handle a wide spectrum of queries from the public and be exposed to a myriad of situations which will call upon your resourcefulness and quick thinking to de-escalate tensions, and concurrently resolve and address any issues raised by the public.

What You Will Be Working On

We are looking for a pro-active and dynamic individual, preferably with experience in the service delivery industry to be part of our Team. In this role, you will provide the relevant assistance to the public to address their concerns. At the same time, you will also provide advice and guidance to SPF units on service operations and other service delivery related matters. With the rest of the team at Service Feedback Division, you will also assist to conduct audit checks to ensure that SPF units adhere to pre-determined service level agreements (SLAs) and other relevant KPIs. In addition, you will also assist the department in other ad hoc duties as and when required.

What We Are Looking For

  • At least 2 years of working experience in service-related roles
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, especially MS Word and MS Excel
  • Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Good team player and at the same time, able to work well independently
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of integrity
  • Good time management and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Organised and detail-oriented
  • Committed and resilient under pressure
  • Able to handle difficult customers and keep calm concurrently
